Three days of flavour, feasting and experiences is the delight that is the McLaren Vale Sea & Vines Festival, held on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, June 9, 10 and 11. Maintaining its award for being the largest wine-region celebration in South Australia, the festival is in its 26th year, and getting bigger and better with every vintage.
Celebrating the culinary and winemaking traditions of McLaren Vale, this mecca for food and wine is only 1 hour from the city, and caters to all ages and tastes.
With a wide variety of free and ticketed events on offer, from intimate degustation dinners to winery tours to fun activities for families (and their pooches!), the McLaren Vale Adelaide MINI Garage Sea & Vines Festival has something for everyone. Saturday: Angove- Andre’s Cucina & The Blind Tiger Gin Bar
Following last year’s sell out, Angove McLaren Vale presents Andre Ursini’s Mangia Mangia, the Blind Tiger Bar and local Adelaide Band VELVET. Indulge in four courses of amazing food crafted by Andre, sip on fine wines and cocktails and enjoy smooth tunes all afternoon, right in the heart of the historic Angove Warboys Vineyard. A brilliant way to celebrate the Sea and Vines Festival and the long weekend – make sure you book early as this is bound to be another sell out.
Menu: Antipasto of prosciutto, mortadella, smoked wagyu beef, calabrese chilli paste, farmhouse cheese, pickled vegetables & schiacciata crostini. Risotto of pine mushrooms, mylor porcini, leek, peas, lemon & goats chevre (in paella pan). Braised beef ribs, Angove Shiraz, pancetta, rosemary, pomme puree & horseradish gremolata. Zeppole, chocolate fountain, vanilla bean and St Agnes Brandy custard & toasted almonds. 12-4pm.

Over 20 years of celebrating Sea & Vines and Maxwell will be going bigger and better again this year.
