With the city in full Fringe mode, there are loads of pop-up bars and special installations dotted around the streets, courtyards and carparks, with new and established bars and eateries making the most of the balmy nights and crowds wandering the streets.
Here is a run down of some of the coolest places to grab a drink and a bite to eat around town throughout February and March.
TJ’S BAR & GRILL- Migration Museum, 82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide
TJ’s Bar & Grill is back again for their second appearance at this year’s Fringe Festival, stopping in the Migration Museum Courtyard for the duration of the Fringe. With a decked bar and seating on top of an old style STA bendy bus, TJ’s (named after creators Tom and Josh) bar is a modified bus roof-top pop-up bar, complete with 3 bars downstairs serving up craft beer, wine, and delicious spirits. Beers on tap include
Andre Ursini’ mangia mangiais also on board serving up their trademark Italian style street food, and there is also live music playing most nights.
TJ’s Bar will run from 16th Februaty through until 18th March, 2018.

MOXIE’S BAR- East Terrace
It was so good last Fringe, that Moxie’s is back! Located upstairs at East Terrace Continental Café, Moxie’s balcony has the best view of the Garden and Gluttony, while serving up Hendrick’s Gin delights and the ETC Cafe menu.
There are multiple Gin-based Asian-themed cocktails on the menu, or have the staff ; inviting customers to a whole new Gin experience. With over 40 unique infused gins each week, there will always be something new to try with each visit.
Open Seven days a week, from 5pm to 3am, Moxie’s is the perfect place to grab a drink or a bite to eat for your pre, post or non Fringe plans.

LOT 14 POP UP- former Royal Adelaide Hospital site on North Terrace
There’s a new kid on the terrace, Lot 14 – the newest East End spot this festival season. Select from a fabulous range of South Australian beer, wine, cider and gin, Instagram worthy platters, FREE live performances and more.
