Winter Wonderland at the Bay
What: Winter Wonderland returns to Glenelg’s Moseley Square this winter – but bigger, better and longer-lasting than last year’s sell-out event! From Saturday 4 July to Sunday 16 August, you can skate – rain, hail or snow; morning, noon or night – on a massive, undercover, 450m2 ice rink right on the Glenelg beachfront!

What: START at the Gallery offers an exciting introduction to visual art for children and families. Held on the first Sunday of every month, START is free and includes art activities, tours, live performance and entertainment. This week… Famous Faces: Explore the stories behind the portraits in the Treasure Ships exhibition and be inspired to draw portraits of famous faces for entry in the 2015 START Art Prize exhibition, hear a rags to riches story about a treasure ship whose most precious cargo ended up being a cat, experience the passion and soul of flamenco with a fiery performance and workshop with Studio Flamenco. Take a self–guided Portrait Trail and pick your favourite to write about for a chance to have your comments put alongside the portrait as a special START Small Talk label.
