Back by popular demand for their 4th year in a row, the 2018 Ice Hockey Classic will thrill Adelaide fans at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday 5 July.
The teams from USA and Canada will feature a collection of current ice hockey stars, illustrious veterans and promising emerging talents showcasing the toughness, speed and skill of international ice hockey, all playing out one of world sport’s most famous rivalries. After snatching series victories for the past three years, Canada is determined to defend their unbeaten title, with USA keen to cause an upset and prove they are a force to be reckoned with in 2018.
In a spectacular showcase of speed, skill and toughness, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre will be transformed into a full sized ice hockey arena, with fans and curious onlookers able to get right up close to the action.
The 2018 Ice Hockey Classic Tour is also raising awareness and funds for the STOPCONCUSSIONS Foundation, in association with Brain Injury Australia, with part proceeds from match ticket purchases going to the charity organisation. STOPCONCUSSIONS is a not-for-profit concussion and neurotrauma awareness and education charity founded by former European star, Kerry Goulet, and ex-NHL stars, Keith and Wayne Primeau.
