Spring is the best school holidays I reckon! Warm sunny days that aren’t too hot, to get outside and get active. Some of Adelaide’s best attractions have great school holiday events and special offers on, below are my picks for the October school holidays…

TREE CLIMB ADELAIDE

Tree Climb is Adelaide’s first inner city aerial adventure park, suited for ages 3 to 103, with over 70 obstacles, 7 courses. The Children’s Course boasts 24 elevated tree top obstacles for climbers above 100cm height.

MEGA ADVENTURE

Bring thrill and adventure to the spring school holidays this September with screen-free outdoor fun at Mega Adventure, Australia’s premier aerial park in West Beach. Visit Adelaide’s leading climbing course which boasts more than 80 aerial crossings, a free-fall jump and the latest addition, the Crows Nest – a 30-metre, near-vertical climb.

THE BIG WEDGIE

The Big Wedgie is the world’s tallest and most extreme standalone inflatable waterslide – and we even have the world record to prove it! Standing at a whopping 18.2m tall and 82m long, The Big Wedgie is not for the faint hearted and is definitely a thrill ride! With a massive 55 degree drop, you are sure to have a blast rocketing down the steep slope being soaked in water. The Big Wedgie is also a four lane racer, so it can be enjoyed by families and friends at the same time!

In addition to The Big Wedgie there is also The Just Right Wedgie and The Little Wedgie, making sure the whole family can join in!

LATITUDE

ROLLER CITY

Roller City pricing is $12 per person (all ages) and skate hire is free! We also have protective gear available to use for no additional charge. If you come in a group of 8 or more people the price goes down to just $10 per person. At each of our sessions staff will run games such as Limbo, 4 Corners, Red Rover and so much more! BASE CAMP

S.A Base Camp is far from your standard gym. It is sure to impress with their kids ninja course, massive vertical rope climbs, sprinting into 80-100 Km/h winds in the super COOL wind tunnel, or go one better with running up the only travelator of its kind in Australia, capable of travelling over 15Km/h at a 38 degree incline. There is also 14 other challenging obstacles waiting for you to take them on, as well as a café with all the right food & drinks. And one last thing 4 ton truck pushing if you DARE.

CLELAND WILDLIFE PARK

Join in the fun at Cleland Wildlife Park this school holidays. There is so much to choose from! Kids Nature Challenge daily. Explore the park on the Great Nature Hunt. Use your artistic flair and create something wonderful at the nature mud art station. Make a cubby – use the branches provided to make a fun home for you and your friends. Discover your favourite place in the park – draw, write or take a photo to take home with you. No bookings required.
