Stirling Golf & Country Club Great Friday

March 30, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

The Stirling Golf & Country Club have today announced their inaugural GREAT FRIDAY event which sees the beautiful and picturesque club transform into a fun-filled venue offering 10 family friendly activities on Good Friday, 30 March 2018.

Nestled amongst the iconic gumtrees of the Adelaide Hills, GREAT FRIDAY is the perfect place for family and friends to start the Easter Long Weekend said Justin Nugent, event organiser.

‘We have scheduled 10 fun activities across the day and the cost is only $10 per adult, with children free. Plus there are all day activities like bike riding and family walking trails open for the whole day,”

“From beginners Bridge, Yoga and Rainbow Trout Cooking Classes through to fly fishing and Easter egg hunts – there is something for everyone,” he said. The GREAT FRIDAY event runs between 10am – 10pm and food and drinks are available all day through their casual dining restaurant.

Paul Durham, General Manager and President of the Stirling Golf & Country Club said Great Friday is another example of the venue extending beyond golf, providing an environment for people to connect in new and exciting ways.

“Golf will always be our focus, but increasingly we are seeing demand from hills and the Eastern suburbs residents to activate this beautiful property.”

The 10 activities for $10 concept has been made possible through the generous sponsorship of Living Choice, Harcourts Adelaide Hills, the Woodhouse Activity Centre and partnerships with the South Australian Fly Fishing & Bridge Associations.
