Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend 2018

Thousands will return to the stunning Clare Valley this May for the 34th Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend from Friday 18 to Monday 21 May 2018. The renowned festival is a celebration of the best the Clare Valley has to offer…food, wine, hospitality, gorgeous autumnal landscapes, heritage buildings, art and music tastefully interwoven making it a major drawcard on the South Australian event calendar.

This year, 36 wineries, two breweries and a number of regional restaurants will take part in the Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend. The event will also feature a range of special events, including degustation lunches and dinners, the Annual Gourmet Market, competitions, masterclasses and educational activities. The program will be jam-packed with events and features, including two new winery venues and a Monday morning wine sale of new and vintage wine releases at select venues.

This year, the popular Gourmet Hub will be relocated to the Clare Showgrounds, across the highway from the previous site at the Clare Valley Wine, Food and Tourism Centre, and will include the Clare Valley Cuisine Gourmet Market. This Gourmet Hub will again feature wines from new and boutique brands in the region.

Getting around the festival will be even easier, thanks to LINKSA, who will be operating a shuttle bus service on Saturday and Sunday through the Clare Valley.  They will also operate a bus service from Adelaide to Clare on the Saturday 19 May 2018, connecting to a shuttle bus in the region.
