Stirling, you never stop giving. Your beautiful main street with its landscaped footpaths, bustling shops and village charm is delightful on many levels. And your trees! Your ah-mazing trees, with the most beautifully coloured leaves in the whole wide world (awarded by me). They are breathtaking, and still have a few weeks left of their colourful display.
But nestled further down the main road, is the ultimate oasis that is Boo and Child/Patch Kitchen and Garden and Ivy Shed. The perfect marriage of coffee, wine and food, shopping and fresh flowers. Four desirables (necessities) pretty high up on my list, and to have them all in the one spot is just genius.
Patch Kitchen and Garden is perfect on so many levels… welcoming of children who are catered for with the gorgeous huge cubby house, climbing trees, sand pit as well as an indoor play area, together with the exciting (hello… no chips and nuggets in sight) menu, delicious adult choices, trendy servingware, and a drool-worthy cake fridge, with the option to take home goodies as well.
Beautifully decorated and super friendly staff (that give out treats to the kids that finish their lunch!) makes for happy parents and carers while the kids have a ball.
But dont be put off if you are heading up there sans kids… there is plenty of room to co-exist with the little ones. There are many rooms and spaces to enjoy the full experience in peace and tranquility. A definite to put on the list to explore one day, with exceptional local, seasonal and organic ingredients and super friendly staff waiting to give you a memorable experience.
