When you need to make-up with your kids after you told them you’re not buying them LCMs for recess, whip these up and they will be like bees to honey.
INGREDIENTS
4 cups puffed rice or puffed millet
2 cups dessicated coconut
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 cup rice malt syrup
1/4 cup cacao
INSTRUCTIONS
Put all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Melt the coconut oil and rice malt syrup over a low heat and add to the dry ingredients.
Mix with your hands until well combined.
Press into a lined baking tin and flatten with your hands.
Refrigerate and slice into bars when set.
Store in the fridge.
